Editorial Policy

LearnLink publishes online learning resources for children ages 4 to 15. We currently produce content covering language learning (including English and Hebrew), with planned expansion into additional subject areas. This page describes how we create, review, and maintain that content across all subjects we cover.

Our editorial mission

We aim to make learning content for children that's accurate, age-appropriate, and grounded in real classroom practice. Our writing decisions are guided by what works for children and the parents and teachers who support them.

Who writes our content

Our content is created by LearnLink's editorial team, with input and review from our network of qualified educators. Reviewers and contributors hold subject-relevant qualifications — for example, TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or DELTA for English; equivalent recognized qualifications in other subject areas — and many bring years of classroom experience teaching young learners.

Review and editing standards

Every article we publish is reviewed against four criteria before going live:

• Pedagogical accuracy — content aligns with widely-accepted teaching practice in the relevant subject area.
• Age-appropriate language — vocabulary, examples, and reading level match the target age range stated in the article.
• Cultural sensitivity — we serve a global audience and avoid culturally specific assumptions where they're not relevant.
• Reference frameworks — where applicable, we align with recognized standards. Examples include the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and Cambridge English (YLE, KET, PET) for English content; we apply equivalent established frameworks for other subjects we publish on.

Use of AI in our workflow

We use AI tools to assist with drafting, research summaries, and editorial workflow. Every article is reviewed by a qualified human editor with relevant subject expertise before publication, and we do not publish content that has not been through this review.

Update and correction policy

• We periodically review published articles to keep them current and accurate.
• If you spot an error, outdated information, or have a content concern, email us at [email protected].
• Material corrections are noted within the article when made.

Authorship and attribution

Articles are attributed to either:

• LearnLink Team — for pieces produced collaboratively by our editorial group.
• A named contributor — when an individual educator authors the piece.

Every article also lists a named reviewer responsible for the article's accuracy at the time of publication.

Editorial independence

LearnLink's editorial team operates independently of our sales and marketing functions. We do not accept paid placements within our blog content, and product or service mentions reflect our editorial judgment alone.

Children's content and safety

We design our content to be safe, appropriate, and helpful for children and the adults who support them. We do not collect personal information from children through our blog. For broader privacy details, see our Privacy Policy.
